A Big Void in Egypt's Great Pyramid of Giza has been Discovered by Scientists Using Cosmic Rays

There is a lengthy and segregated void that existed in the Great Pyramid of Giza. It had remained unknown and unexplored until now. The secrets this chamber contains may date back to 4500 years ago in the past.

Scientists use cosmic-ray muons to find this mysterious void. According to a study, published Thursday in the journal Nature, this void continues for 30 meters.

It joins the King’s Chamber to the Queen’s residence at the very center of the pyramid. Right now it is not known whether any artefacts exist in this void. With the passage of time, it will be thoroughly explored.

The void has length, height and width that is almost equal to the Gallery. The Gallery is 50 by 8 by one meters in its dimensions. Many experts have made the conjecture that it is a construction gap.

The function may have been the allowance of workers to access the Grand Gallery and King’s Chamber while the pyramid was under construction. Nothing could be said with surety right now though.

The discovery of the void was made after researchers fired particles from space towards the earth and found this internal secret of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

The cosmic rays penetrated the solid blocks of the pyramid like x-rays penetrate the human body. The only difference was that these cosmic particles were much more potent in their consistency.

It was all a fruit of a cooperative effort. Several archaeologists, historians and physicists got together and engaged in this experiment in order to discover the hidden secrets of the pyramid.

This happens to be the greatest discovery in Giza since the 19th century. The Great Pyramid was built around the time of the Pharaoh Khufu. For millennia, it was the tallest man-made object on the face of the planet.

It happens to be the only one of the original Seven Wonders of the World to have survived into the postmodern age. The exact way it got built remains a controversy even today.
