Blizzard is offering StarCraft II on Free to Play starting 14 November

Blizzard made some big announcements at the BlizzCon 2017. With announcements about Overwatch League and details and among others. Blizzard announced that StarCraft II will be going Free to Play on November 14th.

The free version of the game will offer multiple features like access to the Wings of Liberty single-player campaign, co-op commander up through level five and Blizzard also announced that they will make StarCraft’s online ranked competitive multiplayer free with access to units from all three StarCraft II releases.

The players have to play their way to unlock the free mode by achieving 10 “First Wins of the Day” in unranked games.

Blizzard said that they will make sure to “preserve the quality and integrity of the ranked experience.” Current and upcoming Co-op Commanders will be available to play for free up to level five with Co-op Commanders Raynor, Kerrigan, and Artanis being free.

The gamers who already own Wings of Liberty will be offered the second expansion for StarCraft II, Heart of the Swarm, for free by Blizzard. The multiplayer mode will enable gamers from around the world to compete against each other.
