Blizzard Announced Classic Server regarding the Game World of Warcraft at Blizzcon 2017

World of Warcraft is a game by Blizzard that dates back to the good old days. It is still at the peak of its popularity. To bring back old players into the game is the goal for now. That is why Blizzard announced the formation of the World of Warcraft Classic Server at the BlizzCon 2017.

The scoop on the latest regarding this server is still missing though. More information will be forthcoming at a later date according to Blizzard. It will be a vanilla version of the game as promised by Blizzard.

A year ago, a vanilla World of Warcraft server was closed by Blizzard. There were issues with the law due to which this step was taken. After a petition or two, however, Blizzard held parleys with developers in order to make it official. Yet nothing fruitful emerged from the meeting.

This led to many thinking that the whole project had been put on the backburner. However, such was not the case. Blizzard confessed that vanilla servers are a complex thing.

Whether or not they are worth the financial assistance and intensive work remains doubtful though. The announcement of the Classic server is clear proof regarding the feedback Blizzard receives from its aficionados. The Classic server will be a reality soon.
