Walmart Black Friday 2017 Ad Is About to Drop
Walmart's 2016 Black Friday ad

The highly anticipated Walmart Black Friday ad release is in one month, based on last year's release. Updated.

The Walmart Black Friday 2017 ad is almost here. The Target Black Friday 2017 ad has been released on Nov. 6. Target decided to come out with their Black Friday 2017 ad earlier than Walmart and Best Buy this year. Last year all three ads have been released on the same day.

Update: The Best Buy Black Friday 2017 ad has been released early morning on Nov. 8. Now the Walmart Black Friday 2017 ad is the last big Black Friday 2017 ad missing. Will Walmart also release the ad on Wednesday?

Based on the release date of last year, Walmart is likely to pick Thursday, November 9 to reveal the highly anticipated Walmart Black Friday 2017 ad and the retailer's Black Friday 2017 schedule.

Walmart made big strides online since the acquisition of a year ago. The focus on online will have an impact on the Walmart Black Friday 2017 sale offered at and through the Walmart app. It will be exciting to see what Marc Lore, who founded Jet, and now leads our U.S. e-commerce efforts for Walmart has prepared to battle Amazon for the online Black Friday crown.

The Walmart Black Friday sale began midnight on Thanksgiving Day online and at 6 pm in stores last year. This was the same schedule as the year before. We do not expect a change in the Walmart Black Friday store opening hours despite JCPenney's decision to open an hour earlier on Thanksgiving Day. Walmart might release the Black Friday 2017 online deals earlier to better match Amazon's Black Friday 2017 Deals Week.

Walmart released the Walmart Black Friday Ad in the Walmart shopping app first last year. It's likely that Walmart will again promote the use of its shopping app with the early release of the ad.

This year the Walmart Black Friday 2017 deal highlights will include bargain 4K TVs, deals on Xbox One S, Sony PS4, discounted Hatchimals Surprise, many deals on hot Holiday toys, movie deals, bargain Chromebooks, lowest price on Google Home and drone deals.
