British retailer released the John Lewis Christmas 2017 Ad.

The annual legendary John Lewis Christmas Ad has been released. This year British retailer John Lewis brings the Christmas spirit with a monster.

The ad tells the story of a boy and his imaginary monster living under his bed. John Lewis features as soundtrack a cover of The Beatles song Golden Slumbers by Elbow. The John Lewis 2017 ad is directed by Oscar-winning director Michel Gondry. His past work includes Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and music videos for the White Stripes.

Moz the monster is kind of cute, but could also come across scary for kids. John Lewis is already selling all kinds of Moz merchandise including plush toys. Some of the previous John Lewis Christmas ads have been tearjerkers, this one not so much. Watch the John Lewis Christmas ad below.

You can take a selfie with Moz and create your own monster on the Moz the Monster site.
