StarCraft II is Now Free to Play

Gamers can Play StarCraft 2 Free of Cost on PC

An announcement was made at BlizzCon earlier on this month. It was regarding StarCraft 2 being available free of cost. Starting from this day in time, StarCraft II will be free for PC players as well.

New gamers can now manipulate their way through the Wings of Liberty campaign. The co-op commanders alongside Raynor, Kerrigan and Artanis are free to play until level five.

The game’s ranked multiplayer ladder can also be opened anytime. This includes the units from Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void. To unlock the feature, players will have to earn 10 first wins of the day.

For those who already own Wings of Liberty, they can avail the second part of StarCraft 2’s campaign. This is the Heart of the Swarm expansion. It is free of cost too. You will need to have purchased Wings of Liberty before October 31st, 2017.

As for Heart of the Swarm, you can log into it between November 8th and December 8th. Although Wings of Liberty is free for everyone, the rest of the campaigns of StarCraft 2 can be bought by players for $15 per head. Blizzard offers them in one package for $40 as well.
