There is a new Tesla Roadster coming.

Elon Musk dropped a big surprise. A new Tesla Roadster is in the works. The new Roadster looks incredible and has ludicrous acceleration. According to Elon Musk the new Roadster does 0 to 100 km/h (60mph) in 1.9s. This is the first production car to be faster than 2 seconds for the 0 to 60 mph.

" The quickest car in the world, with record-setting acceleration, range and performance."

The new Roadster is supposed to do a quarter mile in 8.9 seconds. And that's the capability of the base model. top speed is 250mph and the 200kWh battery gives drivers a stunning 620 miles range. The Roadster has three motors with an insane 10,000nm torque. It's an all-wheel drive of course.

The 2 by 2 four-seater is planned for 2020 starting at "affordable" $200,000. First 1,000 are sold Founder’s Series models that will retail for $250,000. The 2020 Tesla Roadster is going to be the fastest production car.
