Marvel Heroes Publisher Gazillion Shuts Down Early and Lays Off All Staff

Marvel Heroes Publisher Gazillion has Called it a Day a Month Early and Laid off its Entire Development Staff as Well

Gazillion is the real face behind the game Marvel Heroes. It has called it quits and laid off its staff and workers as well in the process. That is prior to Thanksgiving. Many of its employees have taken to tweeting on Twitter regarding their redundancy in the organization.

The relations between Disney Studios and Gazillion had soured earlier. The problem seems to be that the by-now fired staff of Gazillion are not only not getting any last minute pay but their medical insurance has been cancelled abruptly.

PS4 and Xbox players wanted the game churned out by Gazillion to remain functional. Now that the setup has packed its bags and said goodbye, these gamers find that they are not getting any refunds on the defunct game.

Disney Studios curtailed its contacts with the organization awhile ago. This shutdown comes as somewhat of a surprise. Marvel Heroes is an MMO game and it bears an uncanny resemblance to Diablo. Marvel Heroes had been around for a couple of years. PC, PS4 and Xbox One all had the game on their respective platforms.

The game was an interesting one. There were signs everywhere regarding Gazillion. The public sensed the danger of collapse that haunted the studio. The lapses in events started earlier onwards. Then there were the stumbling blocks that got in the way.

Finally, people started leaving the firm in droves. As a final nail in the coffin of the company, an announcement was made that the game would be discontinued.

Now things could not proceed any further and the studio faced certain closure. As all the employees were made redundant, they took to Twitter to voice their concerns regarding the grave injustice that they were currently facing.
