Black Friday Transactions to Lead to Skyrocketing Vehicular Sales in the US

New car sales in the US of A will go up by 3.5% in November. That is from the number of sales a year ago. This is due to the man-made economic phenomenon of Black Friday.

Retailers are prolonging the event till the end of this month. According to the forecasts by car shopping website Edmunds, over 1.4 million cars and trucks will sell in the current month of November for this year. When you add in the whole season, it amounts to a whopping 17.8 million which is indeed a lot.

It means that this month will have 5.3 percent increase in sales from October 2017, and a 3.5 percent increase from November 2016. Over 2.9 million used vehicles will get sold during this month to boot.

"Usually, the first two weeks of the month are slow, especially before a holiday," Jessica Caldwell, Edmunds executive director of industry analysis said.

"But this year retailers are pushing the Black Friday bargains throughout the entire month of November, and it's putting everyone in a buying mood. It also doesn't hurt that automakers are starting to really sweeten the deals to clear out lingering 2017s and end this year on a high note."

Carmakers are dishing out the discounts thick and fast. They want their sales to go through the roof and that is exactly what is happening. By the time 2017 goes the way of history, a lot of cars will have been bought and sold. It is surely a booster shot in the arm for the economy.

This year has definitely been a good one for the United States in matters having to do with car transactions. Any slack that there may have been in the beginning of the sales drive has been covered by the making of such lucrative offers to drivers that they could not possibly refuse the deals on wheels.
