The only topic people talk about is the epic fall of model Ming Xi on the runway

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2017 aired Tuesday night on CBS. The only thing that stood out was the epic fall of Chinese model Ming Xi. The lingerie has not cut out the fall from the TV edit of the live lingerie runway show that took place on Nov. 20.

Social media lit up like a Christmas tree after Xi falls. This was the whole reason why Victoria's Secret kept the fall in the show. It's the only drama in a show that was more of the same from last year. After her fall Xi got up and continued the show like nothing happened, but backstage was another story. Watch the video clips of Ming Xi's fall below. The decision to keep the fall in the show was also good for Xi, who likely gave her blessing to show the scenes.

Now everyone in America knows her name, even if they did not watch the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2017. The story is drawing wider circles as lots of people share their opinion about the fall on Twitter and Facebook. Usually, Victoria' Secret keeps the runway show super clean. You never see any nipples, wrong placed clothes or incidents of models making a mistake.

It was time to show a mistake to keep things interesting and relevant. See photos of Ming Xi in the gallery. Ming Xi was born in 1991 in Shanghai. The 5'10" model has been a fixture in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show the past years. Her professional modeling career started in 2009 after she attended a TV competition.
