2018 Jeep Wrangler is a Strange Mixture of the Old and the New

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler was clearly a redesigned vehicle that had elements of tradition and innovation in its features in equal measure. The hardy jeep or general all-purpose vehicle is built for the rough terrain and only the tough drive it with carefree abandon in such wild regions.

The modernistic retouching it has undergone includes a rear camera in the spare wheel towards the back side. Other features include: a central console in front, a push-button starter safe from the inclement weather that exists outside, special handles so as to do away with the doors and mesh storage pockets.

Besides this, the seats have backside bolstering and there are heating vents in the front.

However, that does not mean that the Jeep Wrangler has strayed from its original nature. It is the same old rough-and-tough four-wheeler deep down inside.

The windshield folds with a four bolt structure. Yet it is aerodynamic thereby showing the slight improvement it has undergone in comparison to past models. Even during the duration when the windshield is non-functional, the rear view mirror stays stable. This is thanks to a novel header bar.

The removable doors make life easy for driver and passengers alike. The redoing of the Jeep Wrangler was like getting a glimpse of Halley’s Comet after a long time.

It was indeed about time this step was taken. The rare event showed that retroactive marketing of old vehicles is still a hot trend and one that could help the automakers achieve a tidy profit in the long run.
