Volvo Starts Cars Subscription Service at $600 per Month

Care By Volvo Program will Ensue at a Rate of $600 Per Monthly Basis

Volvo is ready to enter the subscription racket. At the LA Auto Show, the Sweden-based automaker made an announcement regarding its Care By Volvo Program. This is a free and simple subscription service that is available online. There is no bickering involved in it either.

The entire plan began with a bang. The 2019 XC40 Compact SUV has a price that amounts to $600 per month. This exempts the taxes and registration costs. While in reality if you were to buy it once and for all, it would cost you $35,200, here the lumpsum amount has been divided into bite sized samples of cash.

The rate may seem a little too much yet it includes insurance, concierge service, roadside assistance and maintenance. The SUV is currently on display at the LA Auto Show.It is a luxury to behold in all its wondrous splendor.

The conditions of the program are a two year time span and 15,000 miles per year. Like mobile phone subscriptions, you can change your mind midway and subscribe to a novel 24 monthly arrangement.

No downpayments are needed which is indeed a good thing. As cars enter their golden age in the 21st century, more and more people are seeing the sense in subscription-based car models. Yet up until now only a few vehicle companies have tested these waters. Cadillac is one of them.

Meanwhile, the Volvo XC40 has a leather steering wheel. Also an aluminum trim and automatic climate control system exists in this SUV. Heated front seats and a wireless smartphone charger can be found in the interior of the wonderment on wheels.

Care By Volvo is a nationwide program and its success or failure is something which only time will tell.
