Holiday Deals on Lego Boost, Nintendo Switch and Fingerlings Unlikely

Some hot Holiday 2017 gifts are not dropping in price.

The Xbox One S and Sony PS4 were on sale on Black Friday with savings of $100 or more. Holiday shoppers trying to find a deal on the Nintendo Switch will be disappointed. There is no Holiday deal on the new Nintendo console available. There has also not been a deal this year at all. This will likely not change in the next weeks.

Nintendo has warned earlier this year that the Nintendo Switch will be in short supply during the Holiday shopping season. This has not happened so far. You can by the Nintendo Switch in both variants right now on amazon.com and other online shops. Amazon's Switch offers ship this week on Dec. 7.

Both Nintendo Switch consoles are among the top 10 best-selling video game items overall. Nintendo and its retail partners don't have any pressure to offer a deal on the Nintendo Switch.

Lego Boost was unveiled at the CES 2017. This new Lego set is a game changer. It allows kids to write code to control their builds via a smartphone or tablet. The Lego Boost Creative Toolbox 17101 Building and Coding Kit sells for $159.95. We have not seen it featured in any Lego sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We don't expect a deal on Lego Boost before Christmas, but you never know. You can get notified on your phone if the price of Lego Boost drops with the free Tracker app.

The third hot Holiday 2017 gift that is topping the shopping lists of parents are the WowWee Fingerlings. The good news about Fingerlings is their low price. Depending on the series, prices are between $14.84 to $17.99. A deal on Fingerlings is not really that important as it only would save a few bucks.

The important thing is finding stock of the Fingerlings your kids want. Amazon restocked many of them last Friday. Several Fingerlings like the new 2Tone Fingerlings are only sold in stores, which makes them a pain to find.
