  • Consumer Reports Does Not Find iPhone X on Top of the List

Consumer Reports has declared after running some basic tests that iPhone X lags behind its counterparts in iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus despite superior camera and display

Consumer Reports is a non-profit organization which has been giving out reviews for various products over the years. The reviews offered by them are revered for their unbiased analysis and accurate results.

The Consumer Report recently conducted several tests on the new iPhone X. These tests included tests in handling, durability, battery life, functionality and special features.

It was the year of cutting-edge technology in phones and Apple surprised everyone with a triple release. It released the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X, as in 10 not the alphabet. It won’t be wrong to say that iPhone X received special attention from Apple during the advertisement campaign.

It seemed like Apple was proud of the technology that they had incorporated in the phone. With a $1000 price tag, people are hesitant to just go out and buy the phone despite some new features that have never been used before.

In these times of consideration, Consumer Report analysis will come in very handy. According to the report, the iPhone X was unsuccessful in making it to the top spot of the top 10 list.

The phones on the Consumer Report Top Ten list is a very close call, phones are competing with a few points’ difference. It is notable that iPhone X is lagging behind its own counterparts from Apple, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

iPhone X also ranked a bit lower on Consumer Reports' top smartphones list than Samsung’s S8, S8+, and Note 8 . The main reason of iPhone X lower rank than Samsung devices is their superior battery life.

Also the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus scored higher than the iPhone X. Even though the iPhone X has a new FaceID feature to unlock the phone, animation compatibility, OLED screen and a glass back. All the features set it back with the price.

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are priced at $700 to $800 respectively. It does not have the size or the features or the battery life but at $1000 dollars, the iPhone X is a vulnerable phone.

Apple has already issued a warning that the OLED screen might have some problems with prolonged use and the battery life and the size of the iPhone X are slightly more than iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus which makes the latter phones much more consumer friendly.
