Xiaomi is ready to debut their new phone Mi 7 with the Snapdragon 845 processor. In a recent roundtable discussion with journalists, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun detailed that the Mi 7 will be releasing soon and its features and functions will be revealed and discussed in the upcoming days.

With the Snapdragon Tech Summit presently taking place in Wailea-Makena, Hawaii, Xiaomi is among other Qualcomm partners for exploring the new possibilities that this new processor has to offer.

Furthermore, Jun revealed that they will not be debuting the Mi 7 in the U.S. market yet. He said that taking the U.S. market is going to take a considerable amount of research and analysis.

He said that they are going to observe other devices with Snapdragon 845 and how they perform in the U.S. market before they can think about making a move. He said that while the market can become a huge revenue for the company, going in blind and without any preparation can actually cost them.

So, it has become clear that Xiaomi will not be taking over the U.S. market until they have determined for sure that they want to release their phones for the U.S. consumers. Until then, the rest of the world will be witnessing the release of the Xiaomi Mi 7 which will feature the Snapdragon 845.
