With new smartphones coming out every day and getting more sophisticated software, the hardware issues in the smartphones are increasing day by day. The phone’s battery life is one of the biggest issues in all major consensus.

The smartphones and iPhones are getting thinner designs and the microchips are incorporating all types of features. Regrettably, the batteries are not decreasing in size at the pace that the phones are.

Apple has faced battery life issues and struggled with prolonging the battery life. In the recent iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X and even iPhone models before that had irremovable battery.

Apple is going to be working on making a better battery and prolonging the battery life. For that purpose, they are currently working with the South Korean company LGC to design a single-cell L-shaped battery.

The L-shaped battery will reportedly go into the next year’s version of iPhone X. According to KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo report obtained by MacRumors, the next-generation 5.8-inch OLED iPhone will be powered by a 2,900- to 3,000-mAh battery, the 6.5-inch OLED model is expected to incorporate a two-cell design with a capacity between 3,300 and 3,400 mAh.

The phones are expected to arrive in the fall next year. This is Apple endeavors for making their battery life longer and if they work, we can expect them to be in the future iPhone models.
