On Saturday, Dec. 9, the SNES Classic is in stock at Best Buy, GameStop and Walmart stores. Best Buy and GameStop announced to have received new SNES Classic inventory.

The online availability of the SNES Classic is still a problem. You could sign up at ThinkGeek for a chance to purchase a SNES Classic or NES Classic. The sign-up period has ended. ThinkGeek states on the SNES Classic product page that you have time until Sunday to sign-up, but the widget has already expired. When ThinkGeek will start selling the SNES Classic to the lucky winners is not known yet.

GameStop had the Super NES Classic Collector's Bundle in stock online the last time last time on Nov. 28. There has not been a major online restocking of the SNES Classic in a long time. BHPhoto offered a limited number online a couple days ago. We still expect that the SNES Classic will be available online at major shops ahead of the Holidays. Amazon for instance did not sell the SNES Classic in ages.
