Images of Novel Sony Bezel-Less Smartphones leaked before CES 2018

The leaked photos of smartphones that hit cyberspace recently were none other than Sony Xperia models which were to be revealed at the CES 2018. They had a special look since their display screens contained no bezels.

This was a classic design change in Sony Xperia smartphones that had taken place in recent years. The live photos of these smartphones which got leaked lends us hope of their being revealed at the CES 2018. This will mark Sony’s formal entry into the bezel-less market.

The pictures, posted by GizChina, reveal two Xperia smartphones with very slight topmost and bottom bezels. The photos show plenty of evidence of their being unlike any Sony smartphone that was released in erstwhile times.

One of them has smooth flowing corners. The other one has a box-like layout which makes it similar to pre-existing smartphones. The rear ends retains that classic shiny finish.

A semicircular design is evident on the back side too. The glossy finish will have a fingerprint sensor in its context as well. Both models also feature horizontally stacked double camera modules.

In this, they resemble the Apple iPhone 7 Plus. On one of the models, the sensors are spread out throughout the flat rectangular body of the smartphone.

Whether there is a depth sensing device among all these features remains a mystery. It could lead to a parallax effect which would be problematic indeed.

Both Sony smartphones will feature a 5.7 inch 4K display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. They will be fueled by Qualcomm’s novel Snapdragon 845 chipset.

They will also have 6GB RAM and an Android 8.0 Oreo will be running on them in the form of worthy software. Sony definitely seems to have pushed the envelope here and its Xperia smartphones will bedazzle the crowds at the CES 2018 unless they just happen to be design renders.
