Apple Inc. Allows its Clientele to Pre-Order Unreleased Applications Directly from the App Store

Apple have launched a basic and utilitarian feature for its App Store. This is a facility that allows you to preorder unreleased iOS apps from the App Store and download them upon their arrival.

Any developer can place their app in the App Store for upto three months before its release. Customers will thus get to choose the app beforehand and pre-order it if they want to.

This facility will be available on all App Store versions for all iOS, macOS and tvOS apps. Developers will get to choose between offering free of cost or paid pre-orders.

Were the price to undergo changes during the earlier period, the customer will be charged the lower rate. This could be the pre-order rate or price at the time of the launch.

Only upon downloading of the app will they be properly charged. Not every app will be covered though. Customers need to keep this much in mind.

However, many apps and games will get announced beforehand. Developers can advertise their apps well ahead of time and the customers too can buy one if they like in the nick of time. Google has a service resembling this that has been in operation since awhile too.
