The iMac Pro is Apple's most ambitious computer. It's coming this week.
The iMac Pro goes on sale on Thursday, Dec. 14 on apple.com. This means you might be able to get the new iMac Pro in time for the Holiday. Apple unveiled the iMac Pro back in June. With HomePod delayed, there was fear of delay of the iMac Pro, but that is not the case.
The current spec sheet only suggests being able to choose between 4 CPU configurations. At this point, we still just know the base price of $5,000. The base model runs on an 8-core CPU. There is also a 10-Core, 14-Core and 18-Core configuration, with the latter not coming this year. RAM choices are 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
Customers can choose between 1TB, 2TB and 4TB SSD storage and either an 8GB or 16GB Radeon Pro Vega GPU. Apple has let some famous Youtuber's like Marques Brownlee work with the iMac Pro for a week. You can watch a hands-on impression from Marques below.
