Nintendo Switch Sells 10 Million Units and No Shortage in Sight

The hyped Holiday shortage of the Nintendo Switch is not happening.

This Holiday season, Nintendo cannot be blamed for creating a shortage for its new video game consoles. Despite the company's warnings, the Nintendo Switch is in stock online and in stores. It's less than two weeks until Christmas. Nintendo did a great job so far in supplying retailers with Nintendo Switch inventory.

The shipping dates are starting to slip on Amazon. The Neon model is cutting it close to Christmas, but the Grey version ships still this week. You can purchase both $299 Nintendo Switch on You can find the Nintendo Switch in stock at other online shops as well.

Nintendo announced today that the Japanese video game maker has sold 10 million Nintendo Switch consoles since the launch in March. This is an impressive milestone just 9 months after the introduction of Nintendo's new flagship console.

"As you can see in people’s living rooms, on a plane or riding the subway, fans all over the world can enjoy playing Nintendo Switch wherever they go," said Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime. "The response from fans has been great, and we’re doing our very best to satisfy demand during the holiday shopping season."
