MGA Entertainment, the toy company behind L.O.L. Surprise collectible toys has created a new unboxing toy that is aimed at boys. Crate Creatures Suprise! are little electronic monsters that come inside a crate. The Crate Creatures are available only at, Target and ToysRUs.

Kids can break into the crate with a crowbar to unbox a new beast friend. Pulling their tongues triggers monstrously fun sounds and gross noises. Kids can record and yak back phrases with your Crate Creatures Surprise! Turning the monsters upside down or tip them over for unique creature sounds. The crate creature flaps his arms when it gets shaken by his tail and makes chomping noises when kids feed him his frozen treat. The monsters can be placed back in the crate for repeat unboxing.

The interactions are similar to WowWee Fingerlings. Both can fart by the way. You can pull the tong of the monster to make it made.

It reacts differently when holding it upside down. A feature Fingerlings do not have is the voice recording and playback.Pressing the monster's tummy starts the 10-second recording. The Crate Creature is then playing back the recording in its monster voice. The TV commercials for Crate Creatures made the monsters an item on the wishlists of many kids. The release was a bit late to compete for the hottest Holiday toy of season.
