Apple HomePod is Not Coming to CES 2018

While CES 2018 may not Feature Apple HomePod, the Product may Still be a Winner

Although Apple eagerly wanted to make its smart speaker the talk of the town, the high tech conglomerate announced a delay in the CES 2018 debut of this cool item. The Siri-fueled HomePod costs approximately $349.

The launch will most probably take place next year, according to CNet. This plays out in favor of other brands. With the holiday season up ahead, competing speakers such as the Amazon Echo and Google Home will hog the limelight.

Also the HomePod may not appear at the CES 2018 which is kind of sad since it would have gained a lot of publicity via this move.

The CES 2018 will be the largest high technology show in the United States. Yet there is hope for Apple. Had it been some other Tom, Dick or Harry, it would have meant a fall in ratings.

However, for a giant among giants such as Apple, this may not mean that much of a loss. It may even lead to greater sales when the product finally does appear on the market.

Holiday season is a time when a lot of consumer activity takes place and the economy is being boosted by sales of products and services.

Apple is highly likely to launch the HomePod when it wants to. That is when the time is just right. Other products such as Amazon’s Alexa and Samsung’s Bixby not to mention the Google Assistant will not stand a chance before Apple’s HomePod when it finally does come out.

While the company is often tardy as far its products are concerned, this only leads to mass hysteria among the fans of Apple. This will most probably be the scenario at the CES 2018.
