New Wearable Technology is changing the game.

Professional leagues are discovering Wearables on a broader scale as new innovations become available. Soccer leagues on professional and semi-professional levels are taking a closer look at how they can improve the team performance using technology. Here a few hot soccer wearables that might change the way professional athletes and also non-professionals are training today.

Tommy Haas, Pascal Wehrlein, Torsten Frings and Lothar Matthäus all trust in the capabilities of the AGILITY-Shirt which has been developed by the Swiss company VEXATEC. The shirt offers trainers and teams highly efficient data tracking like a remarkable real-time ECG data and a 360-degree monitoring. The latter being of high interest for many sports. Tommy Haas and Torsten Frings tested the Shirt in the field.

Motion Tracking in 3D is another important technology that changes the football landscape today. It can translate motions and make it accessible for football enthusiasts. Xsens is a leading player in this fi, for example, supported EA Sports for their FIFA 17 game. In the official trailers of FIFA 17, Eden Hazard, Anthony Martial, Marco Reus, and James Rodriguez are wearing motion capture suits by Xsens.

In Fan Mode, sports fans can connect to the big game from wherever they are and be part of the action. By using a smartphone app gestures can directly translated and give fans the opportunity to be part of the game.

Another special solution for amateur soccer players is Tracktics. The company offers a sensor system that is worn on a belt that includes 4 sensors including a high-resolution GPS. The system is affordable for amateur leagues. And the company already supports the soccer school of Real Madrid.

All these companies will be on stage at Wearable Technologies Conference 2018 EUROPE which is taking place on January 30-31 for the 12th consecutive year in line with ISPO.
