Splatoon Joy-Con for Nintendo Switch Come to US in January

The pink and green Joy-Cons pack comes to US. Updated.

Nintendo has released the stand-alone Splatoon Joy-Con controllers only in Japan and Europe last year. US customers had to get the Splatoon 2 Nintendo Switch bundle to get their hands on the neon pink and green Joy-Cons, or buy them at higher cost through imports. Nintendo just tweeted that the Splatoon Joy-Con controllers will be released later this month.

These new Joy-Con controllers will be very popular when they are released. The online stock tracking app The Tracker has started to list the new Splatoon 2 Joy-Cons. The Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Neon Pink and Neon Green are now available on GameStop.com for pre-order for $79.99 and will ship on January 15.

The Joy-Con pairs retail for $79.99. The available colors and combinations available in the US so far include grey, neon red and blue, neon yellow and neon blue. You can find all available Joy-Con packs on Amazon.com.

The Nintendo Switch is the fastest selling console in the United States, beating the Wii. Nintendo has sold 4.8 million Switch consoles in the US so far. A Nintendo Direct in January is expected to reveal a bunch of new games for the Switch.
