Sony XBR X900F 4K UHD HDR Smart TV Series Is New for 2018

The 2018 Sony XBR X900F TVs debut at CES 2018.

Sony unveiled the 2018 Sony XBR X900F LED 4K UHD HDR Dolby Vision Smart TV at the CES 2018. The series follows Sony's popular and well reviewed XBR X900E models introduced in 2017.

Update: The Sony XBR X900F is available on Amazon.com.

The improvements in the X900F series over the X900E series include Dolby Vision support, X1 Extreme image processor, Alexa and Google Assistant support and sizes range up to 85-inch.

The new Sony 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme includes real-time image processing for ultra-detailed pictures. It takes everything you watch and upscales it to near 4K HDR quality. The X900F HDR formats support includes HDR10, Hybrid Log-Gamma and Dolby Vision.

The X-tended Dynamic Range PRO feature delivers up to six times the contrast of conventional LED TVs and X-Motion Clarity technology keeps fast action smooth and clear. Like last year, the new Sony X900F is based on Android TV smart TV surface.

The 2018 Sony XBR X900F series includes the XBR-49X900F, XBR-55X900F, XBR-65X900F, XBR-75X900F, and XBR-85X900F. Sony has not yet revealed the release dates and the prices for the 2018 Sony XBR X900F line.

The prices of the 2017 Sony XBR X900E Series will drop ahead of the sales launch of the XBR X900F TVs. Look out for deals on the X900E on amazon.com.
