Apple Updates iOS to Fix Spectre Flaw

Apple announces Updates to Secure Safari from Hackers

Apple released updates on protecting its Safari service. Attacks could apparently be made on the chips in its products. This had to be prevented. Intel, AMD and ARM chips laid the systems open and vulnerable to attacks by hackers.

Therefore something had to be done about this and Apple spearheaded the fight against this internal breach of security. The flaws were present in all Macs, iPhones and iPads.

Fixes to the iOS, MacOS and Safari browsers are to have their users update them. The problem that haunted Apple’s systems will be rectified with the passage of time.

Chips also had a second flaw by the name of Meltdown. Chipmakers have started haphazardly correcting their products once this news has become the talk of the town.

Both Spectre and Meltdown flaws lead to hackers having a field day with Apple’s and Intel’s systems. This is something which has to be guarded against. It will not be an easy task since the enemy is very insidious.

Hackers are known for their shrewd and perceptive intelligence which they employ for evil purposes. Hundreds of millions of devices already contain these flawed chips around the world. To rectify the wrong will take a monumental effort.
