HARMAN and Samsung showcase the Future of Connectivity and Self Driving at the CES 2018

HARMAN has been a subsidiary of Samsung since a year or so. The company is all about connectivity as far as automobiles, consumer durables and enterprise products are concerned. Singular car solutions have been unveiled at the CES 2018 today.

HARMAN and Samsung are on a joint mission to excel as far as the future goes. The lives of citizens will meld in with the technology to make for a smooth sailing society of futuristic times.

The major creative products that were showcased included: a digital cockpit which lends a makeover effect to the interior of a vehicle; a telematics fix that offers 5G connectivity solutions and last but not least an ecosystem of partners to offer the latest and most innovative of technological solutions.

Each of these three new things have been made possible thanks to the joint partnership of Samsung and HARMAN.

“Together with Samsung, we have increased innovation speed through scale, resources and competencies to help automakers focus on the car’s evolution from device-centric to experience centric,” said Dinesh Paliwal, HARMAN President and CEO.

“HARMAN has the heritage and expertise in automotive, and collectively HARMAN and Samsung harness our best technologies and global scale to accelerate how we better serve the needs of automakers in this rapidly evolving automotive market.”
