Sound Hound is a major creator of voice-operated AI products and other technologies with built-in intelligence. It used Houndify to introduce its AI platform at the CES 2018. The IoT was what this platform was all about.

Among the various diverse fields Sound Hound dealt in may be included: automobiles, speakers with extra connectivity, humanoid robots, home and office appliances, AR, computerized home arrangements and wearable products.

Among the list of organizations that will be showcasing Houndify products and services are: Hyundai, HUMAX, BUNN, Mayfield Robotics, AvatarMind Robots, Modiface, PhotoSpring and last but not least Onkyo.

Demonstrations of the products will be given at the appropriate stalls at the CES 2018. Hyundai will have an intelligent personal agent among its lineup of products. Drivers can control their vehicles in a seamless manner.

HUMAX speakers will allow the best in surround sound systems to be exported to over 90 countries on a global level.

Mayfield and AvatarMind robots will have both cute humanoid AI machines alongside fully functional robots for the home in their repertoire.

BUNN has its coffee making machine which is simply out of this world.

Modiface will have a cosmetics mirror that looks to the beauty needs of its beholders.

Finally, smart homes and wearables will never be the same things that they were known to be thanks to PhotoSpring and Onkyo respectively.

“Conversational voice interfaces represent the next shift in how we interact with the devices around us and the user behavior of speaking to things will quickly become an integral part of our daily lives,” said Keyvan Mohajer, cofounder and CEO of SoundHound Inc.

“Houndify’s platform-agnostic approach allows companies across all verticals to quickly and easily embed a robust conversational voice interface into their products — while still maintaining their brand’s identity — and we’re thrilled to add these new partnerships to our portfolio.”
