Low Power and High Performance AI Microchip showcased at the CES 2018

Gyrfalcon is a major manufacturer of low power, high functioning AI chips that furthermore have a reasonable rate. It has just come up with its Lightspeeur 2801S which debuted at the CES 2018.

Gyrfalcon is a novel company which began operations the previous year. Its intelligent processor runs on special architecture and does not require heavy duty power structures to function.

No power costs add up and the energy is efficiently processed at 9.3 Tops/Watt. In situ computing also does not allow any memory flooding to take place. Over 28,000 parallel computing cores function on this processor.

Among some of the other devices by Gyrfalcon that will be displayed at the CES 2018 include: USB Dongles and Multi-Chip Boards and System Development Kits.

Among the other applications that run on this AI chip are: mobile edge computing, AI based IoT applications, consumer portable gizmos, CCTV facility, AR/VR products, face detection technology, language recognition technology and deep learning not to mention servers and self-driving cars.

A large number of other firms are developing such AI chips and so the competition will be a tough one for Gyrfalcon. Yet it just might emerge the winner that takes the top prize in the end from its rivals.
