Here is everything you need to know about Amazon Prime Day 2018.

The Amazon Prime Day 2018 will kick off on Monday, July 9, 2018, if we take the Prime Day date of last year as a reference. Amazon extended Prime Day to a 30-hour deals marathon that began at 6 pm PT/ 9 pm ET on Monday, July 10 last year.

The list of Prime Day 2017 deals was dominated by savings on Amazon devices, deals on TVs and discounts on toys. A highlight was the 50% discount on the Amazon Echo, driving the price down from $179.99 to $89.99.

The Prime Day 2017 TV deals started as low as $99.99 for a 32-inch TCL TV and the cheapest smart TV sells for $119.99. Amazon also had two Prime Day deals on two mid-range TVs. There was a $599.99 55" premium brand 4K smart LED TV and the new 55" Element 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV - Amazon Fire TV Edition was on sale for $399.99, saving $150. The giant online retailer announced a wide-ranging partnership with Best Buy to sell Toshiba and Insignia brand TVs that run Amazon's Fire TV Edition smart TV platform

Whole Foods could also play a big role this year in the Prime Day 2018. This is the first time that Prime Day takes place with Whole Foods stores part of the Amazon imperium.
