Sony PhyreEngine has been announced to be supported on Nintendo Switch and the games will be coming to the game console lineup

Nintendo Switch has not slowed down in adding more games to its Nintendo Switch eShop. Nintendo has been adding older titles from Nintendo gaming consoles, popular games and new games as well. It is about making the games compatible for support on Nintendo Switch.

The recent games that have been added to the Nintendo Switch lineup include Hotline Miami games, Unravel, Danganronpa, and Dragon Quest Builders.

Now, your gaming brain has gone into gear and yes, you have figured that all these games are a part of the Sony Interactive Entertainment’s free-to-use engine, PhyreEngine.

So, that means, that all of these games which are on PhyreEngine will be coming to Nintendo Switch which means that PhyreEngine will be compatible on Nintendo Switch.

The news was brought to spotlight on Twitter when the Japanese Twitter user @madai_s, posted a photo which showed a trademark from Sony for the PhyreEngine on the info screen of the Switch’s eShop page for Dragon Quest Builders’ demo.

Dragon Quest Builders’ is being built by PhyreEngine. Sony is yet to comment on whether PhyreEngine will be making a full upgrade to Nintendo Switch or when. However, it will not be an anomaly.

Sony has not limited PhyreEngine compatibility to PlayStation. The engine is already compatible with Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, and even Android and iOS. It is a “free-to-use engine” when you come to think of it.

Nintendo Switch is booming in sales and Sony might be seeing a great opportunity in the business that Nintendo Switch is generating.

With its handheld mode, gamers have already preferred to buy and play their games on Nintendo Switch and popular games like Dragon Quest on Nintendo Switch will be a hit with the gamers.
