Tesla Motors renews Model 3 Configurator in Synch with Greater Choices

The Tesla Model 3 review states clearly that it is a vehicle that is like a gentleman’s promise that will be delivered no matter what. Yet a part of the promise is the basic price tag which amounts to $35,000.

This hasn’t been fully declared just yet by the company. Many features remain absent thereby making the price a heftier one, when they will be added to the model.

Tesla recently updated its online configurator. More alternatives seem to be on the way. The battery is the main component which will drastically alter the cost price of the vehicle.

As was seen in the battery pack option for the Model 3, the two choices before Tesla were a 50 kWh and a 75 kWh architecture module. Currently, only the 75 kWh battery is available for $9000, according to Electrek.

Alongside the $5000 premium package, the base price thus gets elevated to $49,000. The online configurator shows it all in a plain and simple manner. While customers are satisfied with all this, they do have one issue.

The premium upgrade packages for the interior look like a bunch of shady deals. The choice lies between ordering right here, right now or waiting a bit.
