Best Super Bowl 2108 TV Deals on AFC and NFC Championship Sunday

Retailers put out new Super Bowl TV deals.

Today is the day many NFL fans make the decision to buy a new TV for the Super Bowl. Why? If their home team wins in the AFC or NFC Championships then they move on to the Big Game. Retailers know that the motivation to buy a new TV for the Super Bowl is hitting a climax today after the last playoff games as fans of the winning teams start planning big Super Bowl viewing parties.

The New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars face off in the AFC Championship game and the Philadelphia Eagles play against the Minnesota Vikings for the NFC Championship title. The winning teams from AFC and NFC move on to the Super Bowl LII on Feb. 4 in the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

This is why we spotted new deals in Super Bowl 2018 TV sales. Best Buy has one of these to low to show the price deals on a 55-inch Samsung UN55MU6490FXZA 4K UHD Smart TV. We went through the trouble to add the TV to the cart and the low price today is $579.99 for this curved Samsung TV. The deal beats Amazon by over $220 and Walmart by $20. The UN55MU6490 gets great customer reviews and is a solid choice for a mid-range 4K TV.

Best Buy also launched today a wide-ranging Super Bowl TV sale on LG 4K UHD Smart TVs with up to 30% off. A standout deal is on the 70-inch LG 70UJ6570 4K UHD Smart TV, on sale for $999.99. You will have a hard time to find a 70-inch 4K TV from a premium brand for under $1,000.

The LG Sale also features the LG OLED TVs, but the prices are still at the level of Black Friday and there are no new discounts on LG OLED TV available in time for Super Bowl yet despite the announcement of the 2018 LG OLED TVs at CES 2018.
