Aston Martin Recalls 3973 DB11 Cars to Fix a Potential Steering Column Issue

Recall of Aston Martin DB11 Version Vehicles due to Certain Issues

Aston Martin is going to recall 3,973 DB11 vehicles in order to fix the problem that lies at the core of each one of them. This happens to be the steering column upper which could inadvertently cause unintentional firing of the airbag.

The main glitch lies in the clock spring of the steering column. This is liable to breakage. The spare part is provided to the Aston Martin Company by Daimler. Were the spring to undergo damage of any kind, it would cause an airbag mishap. The deployment of the airbag is a nuisance indeed.

The brand wants to make sure its customers are fully satisfied with their vehicles. If they show any discontent, it is the duty of the company to allay their worries and fears.

Therefore Aston Martin is taking all the precautions it can regarding the steering columns. Safety, after all, comes first. What is the use of a fancy car if it doesn’t lend a sense of security and stability while being driven down the road.
