2019 VW Arteon Makes US Debut at Chicago Auto Show

The 2019 VW Arteon is Ready to Rumble in the United States

It was a wait that lasted a long time, but now it is definitely over. The 2019 Volkswagen Arteon has been introduced to car lovers in the US. That is after its immense popularity in Europe.

However, the vehicles on display at the 2018 Chicago Auto Show are having US specifications instead of carrying European materials and design philosophy in their makeup.

“The Arteon is Volkswagen’s brand shaper,” said Hinrich J. Woebcken, CEO of the North American Region, Volkswagen. “This car is the spiritual successor to the CC, but it is bolder and faster. Arteon has the style and performance of a luxury Gran Turismo for about the price of a fully loaded midsize sedan.”

VW’s Passat is another vehicle that has won several accolades but it never ought to be confused with the Arteon which is in a class of its own. The Arteon literally drips with style and substance.

The vehicle that comes the closest to the Arteon is the Audi A5 Sportback or A7. Dimension-wise, the Arteon isn’t very large, but it does contain a ton of cool features.

The luxurious seats are one such item of interest. They are upholstered with Nappa leather and have heating and ventilation facilities to boot. There is even a massage module for the sake of the driver who may get tired from constantly driving the vehicle.

There are marks in the roofline. An 8 inch touchscreen also exists on the dash. USB ports are present in the front region while the passengers in the backside get a 12 volt charge port. The 2019 Volkswagen Arteon will be available in SE, SEL, and SEL Premium trim levels. 2019 Volkswagen Arteon will arrive at U.S. Volkswagen dealers in the third quarter of current year.
