The Next Version of the Porsche Cayman GT4 will have a Naturally Aspirated Flat Six Engine

The successor to the prototypical Cayman GT4 is to have a special flat six engine. This is so although the Porsche 718 Cayman has a turbocharged flat four engine in its bonnet. The engine is most probably a detuned sort of the 911 GT3 4 liter flat six.

The horse power will be upgraded from 380 to 400. Natural aspiration is the major USP of the Porsche company. Throttle response is supposed to be excellent and the high rev engine has turbo qualities to it.

Also the head of the company announced that there were no schemes to manufacture any four cylinder GT vehicles. The upgrade means that the 0-62 mph time frame will be cut from the previous time span by 4.4 seconds which is a remarkable improvement.

Also the top speed of 183 mph will undergo an increase which is phenomenal. The weight will be kept at 1450 kg which is kind of normal. The car’s design is focused and flawless.

The Cayman GT4 will be a powerful vehicle that has a RS badge emblazoned on it. As for the company heads, they are hopeful that it will rake in revenues and profits this time around. Its price tag will amount to a whopping 70,000 pounds, according to AutoCar.

This refreshed car was also caught being road tested by spy photographers recently. This operation was going on in the icy northern winter atmosphere.

When you set eyes on this vehicle for the first time, you almost think to yourself that it is a 718 Cayman. There are large air intakes as well. The back side is pretty cool too.

The Cayman is the most potent and aggressive of GT4 samples. Some more differences in this version include the split exhaust tips and vented disc brakes.
