Hackers Turn Nintendo Switch into a Linux Tablet

A Bunch of Hackers Managed to Change Nintendo Switch into a Functional Linux Tablet

Everybody knows that the Nintendo Switch is a very popular game console having a wonderful list of games on its platform. Yet there was something that was missing on it.

This was none other than the service known as Linux. However, that is not a reason to fret. FailOverflow is a team of committed hackers that is everready to crack the code of any game on the planet.

Now it has released some extra footage of how the team transformed a Nintendo Switch console into a Linux tablet.

Touchscreen and web browser support have been added to the mix as well. This is strange since the Switch doesn’t possess a consumer facing web browser.

The Linux tablet is fully functional too. To hack a game console is pretty tough work. There are in fact two motives behind such a desperate action.

The first one is to be able to play games that were previously off limits. Most modern consoles are almost impossible to crack since they have lots of money behind them.

Yet some people just prefer to run the software on these consoles. The Linux tablet transformation is thus quite an accomplishment . An image of this change appeared on Twitter recently.
