VW I.D. Vizzion to Arrive in Showrooms within Half a Decade’s Time Span

The newest arrival on the scene of VW’s I.D. Series of vehicles is the all-electric Vizzion. It is a fully autonomous roadster. The company announced at the Geneva Motor Show today that it would churn out a version of this automobile within five years time.

It would be roadworthy by the time 2022 came ambling along. This one will arrive with an automatic steering wheel and pedals to boot. VW has made the claim that this special thing on wheels can go 400 miles on a single charge. This seems unbelievable but may be true.

The battery pack has 111 kWh in its repertoire. It happens to be a bigger deal than the one sold by Tesla Motors. VW is definitely challenging Tesla Motors with come serious competition.

The two have become rivals within no time. The Vizzion will be powered by a 75 kWh motor. Another motor will power the back side wheels. The external look is one of classic cool.

The curves lend excitement and elan to the vehicle. Most of the pictures that have come before the public eye reveal it to be a fundamentally fantasy vehicle for the hip and fashionable.

The fact that it will have the capacity to drive itself speaks volumes about the direction in which VW is headed. It is definitely looking up instead of down as far as its scope for the future is concerned.

Around a dozen years in the future, you may jump into an I.D. Vizzion and go anywhere you like without lifting a finger. The car will recognize its driver via a sophisticated facial identification system. Instead of a screen, it may actually possess a hologram around the dashboard.

Few vehicles have touched such futuristic levels as this one and that too to the extent of reaching the realms of science fiction.
