Ludia brings dinosaurs in augmented reality to our world in Jurassic World Alive

If you are a fan of Niantic’s Pokémon Go, Ludia has a huge size treat for all your augmented reality loving impulses.

Brining Jurassic World Alive to your screens, the game developer has adopted many features from the Pokémon Go franchise to serve as the basis of the game design in which you can find, capture and participate in games with dinosaurs.

As explained by the developers at Ludia, “Players will be able to discover dinosaurs by locating them on a map and deploying an in-game drone to collect DNA samples."

They will also be able to snap a photo with their favorite dinosaurs, level up the beasts they capture, and, they will be able to battle them with other players. The game’s map screen, as shown in the debut trailer, resembles with Pokémon Go.

There are also other features that resemble with Pokémon Go, for example; in-game incubators for collectable creatures, creature can be captured, and they can also evolve, the stats of the creatures are on display and easily extinguishable, land marks and GPS tracking, a user-friendly interface, ring graphics emanating from base of creatures appearing on GPS map and more.

Ludia is the perfect company to develop a Jurassic game for iOS and Android. This will be their second effort for Jurassic Park which they will also be bringing on iOS and Android.

The game expected release date is during this Spring which will bring it very close to the June release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

The success for Jurassic World will also encourage the game developers to green light other AR projects like Harry Potter, Ghostbuster and The Walking Dead which are presently in the works. The pre-registration for the game has already begun.
