Refurbished 2019 RAV4 Crossover by Toyota Teased before the 2018 New York International Auto Show Debut

Toyota announced recently that its 2019 RAV4 compact crossover will get showcased at the New York Auto Show. This will occur later on in March. The vehicle is entering its fifth generation. It is a part of Toyota’s TGNA platform.

The Camry, Prius and C-HR serve as the blueprints for the vehicles of the future by Toyota. The RAV4 was designed about half a decade ago.

It sold best of all in the USA and managed to fill Toyota’s coffers in the process. Now though it has become sort of old hat and tails behind other cars such as the Chevrolet Equinox, Honda CR-V and Mazda CX-5.

The redesigned version which will debut at the show will be dripping with testosterone and redefine the male ego. The FT-AC which debuted at the LA Auto Show in 2017 is the one from which it seeks inspiration.

The RAV4 has a rugged grille in front of it which lends it a rough and tough grizzly personality if cars can be said have such a thing.

The foglights can be detached by choice on this car which is indeed a plus point which it possesses. Huge 20 inch wheels lie towards the baseline making it good to go on the open road.

Whether the RAV4 will depart from the original source of inspiration which is the FT-AC remains a moot point. The hybrid variety is expected to have all wheel drive too. The V6 engine is coupled with turbo fours which is in sharp contrast to those vehicles which use petrol like it were for free.

The all-new, fifth-generation 2019 Toyota RAV4 will make its world debut on Wednesday, March 28, at 9:10 a.m. EST at the 2018 New York International Auto Show.
