Giant Tech Firms such as Apple and Google Witness their Brands Fall in Novel Survey

Apple and Google have seen their corporate brands undergo a downward spiral in a yearly survey. Amazon has however remained at the top spot as the research points out so clearly.

It has remained the leader for the third year in a row. Also Tesla Motors has made progress after it sent its roadster into space.

Apple fell to the 29th position whereas previously it was at the 5th spot, according to Reuters. Google meanwhile dropped from the 8th ranking all the way to 28th. Even two years ago, Apple was the second most popular company as far as brand identity and popularity was concerned.

Yet all that is gone with the wind. It will take some effort on the part of both the head honchos and the staff of these two firms to regain the topmost spots they occupied once upon a time.

All this came before public view after the Harris Poll Reputation Quotient Poll was aired on Tuesday. This poll has been annually released since the year 1999. It highlights the best corporate brands.

There were reasons behind the fall of Apple and Google in the popularity stakes. A lessening in the stream of upcoming products was one of them. Both brands are currently in the doldrums as far as innovation and productivity are concerned.
