Mercedes-Maybach GLS will Compete with the Bentley Bentayga Sometime Next Year

Mercedes is looking ahead to improve its image. For one thing it will renovate and revamp its Maybach brand in order to escape the S-Class vehicle range.

Maybach is a luxury vehicle that is much in demand among elites all over the world. Yet competitors such as Bentley and Land Rover too have some cards up their sleeves.

The Bentayga and Range Rover by each company respectively are going to give some stiff competition to Mercedes in the near future.

Mercedes meanwhile has seen progress on the front as far as its AMG performance arm is concerned. It wants to see the same thing occur in case of the Maybach.

According to Autocar, Mercedes-Maybach GLS Concept SUV will make its debut at the Beijing Motor Show 2018 which will be held this April.

Finally, it will also appear at the LA Motor Show. In 2019, when it will be in showrooms across the world, it will probably cost a whopping 120,000 pounds.

The luxury vehicle will share the aluminum and steel outer framework and special four wheel drive with the lesser versions of the GLS. There will be very fine design changes that will occur in the mean time before the vehicle comes to the fore.

The internal space will be made plush and posh to boot. A brash new grille and autonomous driving facility will be additional features which will add another feather in the cap of Mercedes. The car rocks and is even going to rival such behemoths as Rolls-Royce with its Cullinan.
