Ford is set to launch an online customer service which will give the customers a complete experience online without setting a foot in a dealership

With the advent of age of technology, the whole market dynamic has changed. The whole world has shifted to handheld devices in our hands and as a result, we have become impatient and lazy. These were the findings of a recent survey conducted by Ford to help them strategize their market approach.
In conclusion, they found one solution that is the easiest thing to do in these times. They are going online. Ford announced that they will be launching a website or an online service which they have titled, Ready.Shop.Go. It is exactly what it sounds like.

The service offers a lot of features to customers and potential customers to check out everything they need to know about the cars they might potentially buy and other related features.

Chad Secrest, general manager of Germain Ford in Columbus, Ohio, called it a game changer in the marketing strategy of auto business. He has been involved in the pilot program for the innovative new shopping experience.

Among the offered features, the customers can check inventory, pricing and incentives, lock in a deal for 48 hours, apply for financing, estimate trade-in values and set up a test drive.

Mark LaNeve, vice president, U.S. Marketing, Sales and Service said in a statement about the service, “Our customers are busy people, whether with daily work demands or spending time with their families. Quality time is scarce and downtime is even more so,Ready.Shop.Go. allows them to find the perfect vehicle online, spend significantly less time at the dealership and drive away with their new ride sooner.”

Ready.Shop.Gowill also allow a customer to save a deal and return later to complete the process

Ford is planning to launch in several Midwestern states later this month. There is already discussion about Ford introducing customizable purchase and lease options powered by AutoFi.

AutoFi is a fintech company in which Ford Motor Credit Company has invested. Customers also will be able to remotely review and digitally execute contracts with Ford Credit in the future.
