Mercedes Unveils New C 43 4MATIC Coupe and Cabriolet Ahead of 2018 NYIAS

Mercedes Novel C-Class Coupe has 385 hp and a 10 inch Touchscreen on the Front Dash

Only a couple of weeks after the C-Class Sedan was showcased at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the 2019 Mercedes C-Class Coupe will be revealed at the 2018 New York International Auto Show.

Both will be in showrooms around the USA towards the end of 2018. The latest stuff from Mercedes is a novel take on pre-existing vehicles. While the external looks of each one is not so different from the past models, inside it is a completely different story. Both models also have rear wheel drive and four wheel drive.

In New York, Mercedes will actually unveil the base C300 and a midrange Mercedes-AMG C43 versions of both the coupe and convertible.

"With the new C 43 4MATIC Coupé and Cabriolet, we offer our customers extensively upgraded, visually and technically distinctive entry-level options into the performance world of Mercedes-AMG," says Tobias Moers, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-AMG GmbH.

The 2019 C300 Coupe can go from 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds. As for the Convertible, it needs 6.1 seconds to accomplish the same feat. The speed limit on all models is 130 mph. The Coupe has a 10 inch central display screen.

Besides this, a 12.3 inch digital cluster exists as well on the front dash. There are a host of driver assist features in both vehicles. These include in their repertoire: Distronic, Active Steering Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking and V2V Communications Systems.

The C-Class Coupe will come to showrooms by the end of the year. It will be a time of merriment and excitement for car aficionados.

They will thus get a chance to view and possibly road test this vehicle for the first time. Buying it will be a dopamine high in itself and driving it down the open road will probably raise the adrenaline levels of both the drivers and the passengers to the max.
