Lenovo Mirage Solo Is Up for Pre-order on Amazon

The new Lenovo Mirage Solo Stand-alone VR headset is on sale at Amazon.

Amazon has started to take pre-orders for the new Lenovo Mirage Solo VR headset at amazon.com. The online inventory tracking app The Tracker just notified its users about the availability of the Lenovo Mirage Solo on Amazon.

You can save now $50 when you pre-order the Lenovo Mirage Solo and Mirage Camera Bundle. Instead of $699.98, you only pay $649.98 for both.

The Lenovo Mirage Solo stand-alone VR headset will ship on May 6. Lenovo introduced the Mirage Solo at the CES 2018. The Mirage Solo HMD does not need a mobile phone or a PC for virtual reality experiences. Everything is built into the headset.

The Lenovo Mirage Solo with Daydream sells for $399.99. The Lenovo Mirage Camera is available for pre-order on Amazon as of March 25. The release date for the VR camera is also May 6.

Features of the Lenovo Mirage Solo include Worldsense. You can get up off your chair and truly explore your virtual world, free from external sensors. Duck, dodge, sidestep and leap, just like in real life.

Lenovo Mirage Solo's engineered to be so comfortable, you’ll forget you were wearing it. Artfully weight-balanced and coated with breathable, thick padding, it's adjustable to your precise measurements. Mirage Solo sports a stand-out look that begs to be worn, while gesturing to the future. VR has never been so appealing.

With 4GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor engineered for lifelike VR, the Mirage Solo is the one device that pushes Daydream to its fullest potential. Debuting a blur-free, low-latency QHD IPS display and a 110˚ field of view, the Lenovo Mirage Solo delivers incredible VR sessions for the most demanding discoverers, offering up to 7 hours on a single charge.

Lenovo Mirage Solo puts Daydream VR’s hundreds of incredible experiences at your fingertips–including YouTube, Netflix and much more. You can access a whole new library of WorldSense-powered experiences, such as Blade Runner: Revelations, which lets you move about and interact with your environment as you search for clues to unravel a Replicant conspiracy.

The Lenovo Mirage Solo is a major milestone for VR headsets, especially considering the affordable price of under $400. No wires and integrated tracking beat the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive in simplicity and convenience.

The Lenovo Mirage Camera lets you share your once-in-a-lifetime moments with friends, so they can see what you saw with the exact same lifelike clarity, and go through what you experienced first hand. Thanks to two 13MP fisheye cameras to create depth perception synced with 3D native stereoscopic technology.

With 180x180 degree field of capture, all you need to worry about is where to point and shoot. It’s literally impossible to miss, the Mirage VR Camera captures everything your eye can see and more.

With native 4K video and advanced auto-image stabilization, your VR videos and photos have never looked so crisp and immersive. You'll feel like you were actually there. Finally.

Lenovo integrated the Mirage Camera with Google Photos and YouTube. All content can be uploaded to Google Photos and live-streamed on YouTube in VR, thanks to the camera’s built-in Wi-Fi - no smartphone required after the initial account set up. There are no deals yet on the Lenovo Mirage Solo and Amazon is also the only store offering pre-order for Lenovo's new VR gear.
