Mercedes will Launch a Luxury Vehicle Subscription Service This June
  • Mercedes-Benz USA and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Announce “Mercedes-Benz Collection”

Mercedes-Benz to Start a US-Based Car Subscription Service Soon. This Luxury Vehicle Subscription Service will Launch as a Pilot in Nashville and Philadelphia.

Many leading car brands meant for the rich and famous are busy looking into subscription services. Thus clients who want to get their hands on luxury vehicles will get to have their way soon. The most recent brand to enter the field is none other than Mercedes.

The US office of the company announced recently that it would start a scheme in June of this year. Nashville and Philadelphia are the two cities where this Mercedes-Benz Collection service will begin as a pilot with multiple subscription tiers available in each location.

A large number of vehicles from the brand will feature in the service. These include SUV, sedan, coupe, cabriolet, roadster and wagon models.

According to the company, "Mercedes-Benz Collection experience is equal parts app- and concierge-driven. Once subscribed, customers initiate vehicle exchanges, concierge communication and other actions via the app.

"Concierge staff then ensure that the delivery is consistent with the details and preferences in the customer’s profile. Subscribers will enjoy unlimited access within their tier and no mileage limitations. The monthly subscription fee also includes insurance, 24/7 roadside assistance and vehicle maintenance."

For those who would like to avail the service, they will have an application at their disposal. Even Mercedes AMG models will be available to these subscribers.

While the cost prices were not released, other services by BMW, Cadillac, and Porsche have price tags which run the spectrum from $1800 per month to $3000.

BMW announced its service exactly seven days before Mercedes made its intentions known to everybody. The previously established services such as Book by Cadillac and Porsche Passport hold some fine cars for enthusiasts. These include sports vehicles, SUVs, and sedans. It all depends on what the drivers want to drive at the moment.

Audi on Demand is another service that has been working in San Francisco for the past few years or so. It has per hour and per day rates that are different from each other. Subscriptions to these luxury cars will be available to anyone who can afford them.
