Night Trap is Coming to Nintendo Switch This Summer

The Game Night Trap has a Cult Following and is Arriving on the Nintendo Switch Soon

In the early 90s, a full-motion video was a revolutionary form of technology and the gaming crowd really loved it. It was accepted with open arms. This technology was used in a horror game that had in it, women with few clothes on their bodies who were terrorized by vampires.

It has been two and a half decades since those days. Limited Run games announced on Twitter that Night Trap will be coming to the Switch in the summer months this year. This is so in spite of Nintendo heads making oaths that this game will not be coming to their platform.

At present, the game is available on PS4 and PC. Also, there is the talk of a sequel. The original interactive film includes Dana Plato of Different Strokes. That was way back in 1992.

The game was released on the Sega CD system. As gamers, the basic job at hand was to implant booby traps for the evil vampires. The game and the film both cost $1.5 million.

Although they were rather mild by today’s extreme standards, back in those days, the very thought of such a game was upsetting to many parents and authority figures. They got worried that the younger generation was being ruined by such forms of entertainment.
