Amazon Fire TV Cube with Alexa Does Exist

The next generation Fire TV is confirmed.

Amazon is one busy hardware development house. Earlier this week, rumors broke that Amazon is working on Project Vesta home robots and the company launched Amazon Key In-Car delivery. The week before Amazon announced new Toshiba and Insignia Fire TV Edition Smart TVs in partnership with Best Buy.

Now Amazon confirmed on its website that there will be a Fire TV Cube. The next generation Fire TV has leaked already a year ago via AFTVNews. The cube-shaped Fire TV has the functionality of an Amazon Echo Dot built in according to the initial leak.

AFTVNews has today spotted a sign-up page to receive more information about the Fire TV Cube on amazon.com. This could mean that the release of the new flagship Amazon Fire TV 4K streaming box is soon.

The full availability of Alexa in a Fire TV device is convenient. The question will be the price. Right now the pendant style Fire TV 4K box retails for $69.99. If Amazon keeps the price under $100, the new Fire TV Cube could become another must have Amazon Device.
