Steam Beta Officially Adds Full Support for the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller

Valve recently declared that Steam will be bolstering Nintendo’s Switch Pro Controller. This means that the gamers can now manipulate the device provided they enter the newest Steam client beta.

"We’re pleased to announce that the latest Steam Client Beta adds support for the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller," Valve stated in an official blog. "We think it is a great device with a feature set that pairs nicely with your Steam catalog."

It is indeed a wonderful gadget that goes in sync with the Steam list. While the d-pad is meant for fighting games and platform items, the gyro sharpens your hold on action/FPS titles.

The sizeable and pleasant not to mention comfy Pro Controller has a lot going for it. Only the absence of analog triggers offers a slight problem in this device.

The plus point of the Pro Controller is its built-in gyroscope. It lends shooter games precision and purpose. This contraption is a better substitute for the PS4 DualShock and Steam Controller.

Gamers have been able to employ a Switch Pro Controller on PC for some time now. This is all courtesy of the Bluetooth facility which is already available on the platform.

However, Bluetooth itself needs a third party program to be fully functional. Thanks to Steam, it will all be plain sailing from now onwards. The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller has finally found its rightful place in the capable and efficient support of the Steam platform.
